  • Some time ago I have published on Behance the project “Monochromatic Alps”. I decided to continue this series. Below I present pictures in monochrome conversion captured in the Dolomites. The sky was cloudy, but it was changing dynamically, and this added some drama to photos. When creating a series of monochrome photographs of the mountains I was inspired by the literary realm “Mordor”, from the novel by J. R. R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings”. The name “Mordor” in the Elvish language Quenya (created by Tolkien) – means “Land of Shadow”. I hope you enjoy my vision of this dark realm.
